Good Cake Bakery
General Provisions
1.1. This website is the official online storefront of Good Cake Bakery, a custom bakery in Israel.
1.2. All orders submitted through the website require final written confirmation from the pastry chef via WhatsApp.
1.3. The bakery reserves the right to decline an order if the selected date is fully booked.
Order Placement and Changes
2.1. All order details (filling selection, final decoration design, date, and exact pickup/delivery time) are confirmed exclusively in written WhatsApp correspondence. Verbal agreements made by phone are not legally binding.
2.2. Any changes to an order (weight, flavor, design elements, or date) must be requested no later than 72 hours before the agreed completion time.
Rush Orders
3.1. We recommend placing your order 2–3 weeks before the event.
3.2. If the pastry chef has availability, rush orders may be accepted with the following surcharge on the final price:
2 days before pickup — +10%
1 day before pickup — +20%
Prices and Payment
4.1. All prices on the website are listed in Israeli shekels (₪).
4.2. The price of custom cakes is stated per 1 kilogram unless otherwise specified. The final price is calculated individually based on the complexity of the decoration and the final weight of the cake.
4.3. Payment or a deposit (the amount is determined by the pastry chef during the order discussion) can be made via Bit, PayBox, or bank transfer. The order goes into production only after payment has been confirmed.
Order Cancellation and Refunds
5.1. In accordance with Israel’s Consumer Protection Law (חוק הגנת הצרכן), food products of proper quality and goods made to individual order (custom design, individually selected ingredients) are not eligible for return or exchange.
5.2. A full refund of the deposit for a cake order cancelled by the client is available only if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the agreed pickup time.
5.3. If the order is cancelled less than 72 hours before pickup, the amount paid is retained by the bakery in full to cover the cost of purchasing natural perishable ingredients and production preparation.
Delivery and Pickup
6.1. Pickup is free from Bat Yam (near Aneviim and Komemiyut streets) at a prearranged time. The exact address (building and apartment number) is provided directly to the client once the order is confirmed as ready.
6.2. Delivery is handled by our own courier service using specially cooled transport. The cost is calculated according to the city pricing table listed in the FAQ section.
6.3. Shabbat deliveries are subject to a mandatory 50% surcharge on the standard city delivery fee.
6.4. Handover rule: The courier delivers only to the building entrance / courier vehicle. The courier does not go upstairs to the apartment. The client must come downstairs and collect the dessert from the courier’s vehicle within the agreed delivery window.
Liability and Force Majeure
7.1. Good Cake Bakery is not responsible for damage to the appearance of a dessert after it has been handed to the client at pickup, or if transportation and storage requirements are not followed (the dessert must be refrigerated at +2°C to +6°C).
7.2. The bakery uses only 100% natural ingredients. The client must inform the pastry chef in advance of any allergies among guests to specific ingredients such as nuts, lactose, honey, or berries.
